Soundcloud, we are appealing to you as a global community of musicians, listeners, and producers.

Since Soundcloud is now gaining income with an advertisement and a new subscription service you should be legally obligated to pay out royalties for the music streamed. All other services that stream music and charge a fee / make money pay a percentage to the artist. Soundcloud should follow suite.

This impacts all musicians and listeners. If someone is paying for your service and listening to their favorite music they want to support them in creating more music. The musicians should also be paid as being the only content you are selling with your service. 

Please join us in this petition and make a statement to not only Soundcloud but all streaming services. If you are making money streaming someone elses music you should give them a cut.
