Petition for Expedited Processing of Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) Applications

To the Honorable Mayor Andy Fillmore and Relevant Authorities,

I, Ashwinder Kaur, am writing this petition on behalf of all international students who are facing challenges with the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) applications.

Our Concerns:

- Many of us applied for PNP and AIP months ago, but our applications are still pending.
- Most of us are currently working on applied work permits, while some are on visitor records and others are out of status, causing uncertainty and hardship.
- We have invested significant time and effort into our studies and work in Canada, contributing to the local economy and paying taxes.

Request:

We kindly request your assistance in:

1. Expedited processing of PNP and AIP applications or provide valid work permits or necessary documentation to ensure our continued stay and contribution to Nova Scotia.

2. Considering our situation, we ask: We worked hard, contributed to the economy, and followed the law. Why aren't our files getting approved? We deserve a resolution.

We, the international students, stand together in support of this petition.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Your support would bring hope and relief to countless individuals who have made NS/Halifax their home.
