We are launching a petition to urge the City of Melbourne to take immediate, local action on our city's homelessness crisis!

By gathering signatures from students, teachers and community members, we are calling on Moonee Valley Council to turn vacant city-owned properties into emergency shelters, boost funding for support services, and provide 24/7 basic necessities like bathrooms and safe storage. 

Our goal is to ensure that every person sleeping rough in Melbourne has immediate access to safety, dignity and a warm place to stay while long-term social housing is built.
