THESE ARE THE ISSUES FROM MCMASTERS TUITION CHANGES IN LIGHT OF COVID-19

Removal of multi session courses
(Offer one core course)
- makes timetables harder to plan out, may have to choose between 2 courses instead of regular session planning

Less overall classes

No in person facilities
This includes Libraries, study areas, planetarium, McMaster Student Centre, Athletic facility, many facilities we have previously paid for construction and upkeep under our tuition payments

Under Athletics, multiple sports teams have had their funding CUT.

No dental or healthcare, optometry, residence living, and multiple opportunities for students to work, closed restaurants and food vendors.

Students are going to be forced to pay EXTRA as McMaster believes online learning costs them MORE.

These are what our tuition pays for, and our tuition is instead going towards a few zoom accounts and an online learning program, MOST OF WHICH WE PAY EXTRA FOR (i.e. Kritik). What are we not being told?

On top of these issues, McMaster has not been at all respondant to allegations against Constable De Caire and calls to investigate his actions and disband his service.

We are paying for 2nd class learning from a top tier university, and for alot of us Parents are not able to help us pay, and OSAP simply does not cover enough. On top of that, CESB does not cover as much as CERB, a blatant attack on Students financial stauses.

HELP US MAKE A CHANGE. We will begin with an online Petition and if and when we have to MOVE TO CAMPUS TO PROTEST.

To be clear: we want an adequately and fair priced Tuition that reflects the quality of education we are forced to recieve in place of in-person classes.
We want De Caire to be held accountable for his actions and the voices of the students who PAY to be heard.
