Enable individual European Britons to #ExitFromBrexit and remain full EU citizens

The Issue

Following the Brexit referendum in the UK on 23 June 2016, we assert our new identity as "European Britons".

We respectfully request that the UK and EU establish a mechanism to allow European Britons to individually choose to remain as European Citizens, by renouncing our UK identity at the instant of any definitive UK exit from the EU.

We note that leading UK politicians have reassured all European Citizens already legally resident in the UK that their ongoing residency is not threatened by Brexit. We therefore assert our right to continue residing in the UK in perpetuity as independent European Citizens. This right should be automatically extended to all our dependants and descendants in perpetuity.

Upon Brexit, European Britons should be officially recognised as super-national persons who have chosen to #ExitFromBrexit and remain in union with half-a-billion European brothers and sisters.

As such, European Britons should be provided with full democratic representation within the EU - including a proportionate allocation of seats in the European Parliament, a European Commissioner, a seat on the European Council for our democratically elected leader, and full participation in all other EU bodies.
