Establish Climate Change Clubs in Public Secondary Schools in Nigeria

Establish Climate Change Clubs in Public Secondary Schools in Nigeria
The Issue
The 2022 Nigeria floods have affected many parts of the country. From the Federal Government Data, the flood has displaced over 1.4 million people and killed over 603 people and injuring more than 2,400 persons. About 82,035 houses have been damage, 332,327 hectares of land wee also totally damaged.(Wikipedia, 2022).
Currently The United Nations Climate Change Conference, which is Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, or COP27, the 27th United Nations Climate Change conference and is being held from 6 November until 18 November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
Yet, our future leaders the secondary school students from age (13-17) across Nigerian schools have no knowledge of what climate change is.
My Ask
The Minister of Education, through the SDG department should create and monitor climate change clubs in Nigeria Secondary schools
Increase innovation that will reduce the Climate changes in our environment like solar installations trainings in Nigeria Secondary schools.
