In our beloved communities of Sebring, Beloit, Homeworth, Damascus, Salem, Deerfield, North Benton, and Alliance, our seniors - the pillars of our society - lack a local senior center dedicated to their needs. As locals who care deeply for these seniors, we have been temporarily utilizing our event center to function as a makeshift senior center. The interest we have seen has been overwhelming and the number of seniors attending continues to grow - clear evidence of an urgent need.

Our senior community members deserve more than makeshift solutions. They need a dedicated center where they can come together to share meals, enjoy enriching activities, gain knowledge, and aid in maintaining their health, wellness, and independence.

We urge our local leaders to take action by establishing an official senior center at the specific location of 230 S 12th Street in Sebring, Ohio. The creation of this center will not only address the immediate needs of our seniors, but also contribute significantly to their quality of life and continued independence.
