I am, like many others, a healthcare worker who was personally affected by a supreme court ruling that has sanctioned the compulsory administration of an experimental vaccine. Doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals were compelled to take this vaccine in the throes of a pandemic, on peril of their responsibilities and duties. Now I, like countless others, suffer from a lifelong autoimmune disorder, an unintended impact of this vaccine. We are part of a growing cohort of people afflicted with vaccine-related injuries in the line of duty. We are the only class of Americans unprotected against such forcible vaccination.

Given these circumstances, the need becomes compellingly clear: a law must be established that explicitly protects healthcare workers from being coerced into taking vaccines during pandemics. While vaccines are undoubtedly crucial in combating infectious diseases, it is equally indisputable that their efficacy and potential side-effects should be studied comprehensively before healthcare professionals are compelled to take them.

We propose that all healthcare professionals be given the freedom of choice regarding vaccinations and be given access to comprehensive, unambiguous information regarding vaccination risks, pros, and cons. This is not about opposing vaccines, but about their safe and consensual administration, specifically among the healthcare workers who are at the forefront of combating such crises.
