Amazon's Kindle Scribe has proven to be an invaluable tool for many of its users.

However, one feature that could significantly enhance the user experience is the ability to control or disable the auto-sleep function. As it stands, this automatic feature interrupts continuous use of the device, limiting its potential as a true paper notebook replacement tool.

By allowing users to control this function, we would be able to use our devices "always on" in meeting or thinking sessions without interruption and truly replace physical notebooks with digital ones.

We urge Amazon Kindle to consider this modification in their next update for a better and more efficient reading and writing experience. This change would not only improve user satisfaction but could also be an opportunity for Amazon to market Scribe as a contributor towards environmental sustainability by reducing paper usage.
