As someone who lived in a small town where droughts already meant our water ran brown, this country cannot handle the environmental impacts of data centres. They are unnecessary and will only harm the day to day living of every person in this nation. It is a waste of resources and money and will worsen the problems already present in this nation. I am 20. I am already concerned for my future in this country and the idea of data centres chewing through our resources only worsens it.
As a fifteen year old who lives in this country, it’s not fair that those who have already experienced their lives! What about us? Don’t we deserve a future??
Im only 16 and im studying animal sciences to help prevent the destruction of this world and help animals fight for their home and a chance to live alongside us. All adults that try to destroy our land for their own interests and money gain are disgusting. I want a future where children won't have to go to zoos to only see ai versions of animals because the real ones were driven to extinction due to our own greed.
As a teacher, I hear hundreds of young men admitting that they don’t know where to turn to learn about sex or healthy relationships, because they are constantly faced with this filth. I hear as many teenage girls thinking that this is something they have to look like they are ok with for fear of being rejected or broken up with. Our society is drowning in consent programs, and then producing ‘games’ like this. For those of us who saw the red lights in ‘Adolescence’, who claim to care about young people, violence against women, or the hearts and minds of our future men, the responsibility falls to each of us to see material like this returned to the put from which it came, and seen for the sickening version of sex that it is.
It shouldn’t even be said why this sort of thing should not be acceptable. We should not normalize or fetishize this sort of behavior. Some may compare it to other games that have you do illegal stuff; but rape should not even be comparable. This is personal, this is traumatizing, and this has affected many real people.
As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I have countless memories of playing Star Wars Battlefront II with friends, immersing ourselves in epic battles across iconic planets like Hoth and Endor. The thrill of teaming up to take down AT-ATs or engaging in intense lightsaber duels was unmatched. With the advancements in gaming technology and the rich lore of the Star Wars universe, a Star Wars Battlefront III could elevate that experience to new heights. Imagine stunning graphics, expanded gameplay modes, and even more characters from both the classic and new trilogies. Bringing Battlefront III to life would not only reignite the passion of longtime fans like me but also introduce a new generation to the excitement of epic Star Wars battles.
