Eliminate Dashboard Standings from the Amazon Flex App

The Issue

As an Amazon Flex driver, I've come to recognize the seemingly unnecessary distress that the Dashboard Standings system causes. This feature on the Amazon Flex app does not accurately reflect the hard work and discipline of drivers—it instead creates a false image of our performance.

The Dashboard Standings rating system is used to rank drivers, allegedly helping to boost productivity. However, it has become clear that this system often inaccurately represents drivers' performance, causing unnecessary stress and even negatively impacting our standing within the company. Moreover, there is no indication that this standings system enhances performance. No data publicly supports the claim that the system increases productivity, and its actual effect on drivers' work lives seems to be primarily negative.

Being a driver is demanding work, where every pickup, delivery, and customer interaction matters. A system that apparently arbitrarily reduces our performance to a number is, frankly, disheartening. It reduces the human element of our job, replacing it with an arbitrary ranking system. It singles out drivers, creates anxiety, and, in many cases, unfairly paints a picture of inefficiency. Under this system, many drivers and I feel constantly under pressure, which, in turn, detracts from our performance rather than enhancing it. Plus stops driver's from taking blocks or shifts. So it is affecting many people's livelihood.

“Amazon need to disable option ‘parcel not received’ when the delivery driver submitted a picture of the parcel left in customers preferred safe place” so we are not penalised because of thieving “customers”.

We urge Amazon to eliminate the Dashboard Standings from the Amazon Flex app. This would be an important step towards honoring the human element behind every pickup and delivery, and focusing on drivers' wellbeing rather than a divisive ranking system. Please sign this petition to support Amazon Flex drivers in our call for respect and fair representation of our work.

We need to protest for our rights and the pay for morrisons blocks needs to double and logistics block payments need to pay double aswell because in reality you are working more hours, a 4 hour block is in reality a 6 hour block. Due to driving to depot takes 1 hour, then you getting home takes 1 hour. So if your getting paid £70 then that's actually less due to working more hours so the actual pay should be £120 for a 4 hour block.
