We, the undersigned employees of Cyara Solutions, are submitting this petition in support of promoting Yogendra "Yogi" Segar to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As the Senior VP of Engineering, Yogi has overseen the development of our highly complex and technical software. His deep understanding of both our internal systems and our software’s architecture has been instrumental in the company's growth. As we look ahead, it is essential that we have a leader in the CTO role who possesses this intimate knowledge and vision to guide the company into the future.

Yogi is the person most deeply familiar with the intricacies of our software and systems, and has consistently demonstrated strong leadership in managing a highly skilled, geographically dispersed team. Under his leadership, the engineering department has been able to overcome complex technical challenges and drive the company’s product innovation forward. He has consistently delivered on key initiatives and has shown an exceptional ability to adapt to rapidly changing technological landscapes.

While the concern has been raised that the CTO should be based in the US, we believe that Yogi’s location in Australia is actually an asset. The majority of our engineering team is based in Australia and India, and Yogi has demonstrated an exceptional ability to manage and collaborate effectively with these teams, ensuring alignment and driving success across multiple time zones. Being located in Australia has allowed him to stay closer to the day-to-day operations of the engineering team and better understand the technical challenges they face. Moreover, in today’s globalized and digital-first world, geographic location is no longer a limiting factor in leadership effectiveness.

As we continue to expand globally, having a CTO with experience leading teams across diverse regions is crucial. The ability to manage complex international operations and navigate cultural differences is a key skill that Yogi possesses. His current role has already involved extensive collaboration with teams around the world, and his international perspective will be invaluable as we grow.

Promoting Yogi to CTO would ensure that the company continues to be led by someone who not only understands our technology inside and out but also has the vision and leadership to guide us through the next phase of growth. His promotion will provide stability, inspire the engineering team, and strengthen our position in the market. With his proven track record and commitment to the company’s success, Yogi is the best person to lead us into the future.
