Why this petition matters

Started by seamus kennedy

Padraig Pearse is Irelands best known Patriot, Irish Language activist and political figure who was executed by England for loving his Language people and country. He gave his life for all three. The man who read the proclamation in 1916. As a citizen of Ireland I feel it is simply not good enough that this man does not have a statue . His father and brother  were also sculptors and William was also executed.

You can walk round Dublin and see statues and art of Luke kelly , Phil Lynott , James Joyce , I appreciate this . What planet is "Proud to be Irish" on ? If its money is the problem which I doubt then as Irish people who believe this is wrong we can start a Go fund me page. Dublin is losing its soul if they deny Pearse .... there is still another chapter to be wrote .

The reset button has been set and the Green Wave from the Atlantic is rising. Our Language is the soul of our nation. Padraig Pearse amongst other great men shaped the Ireland that we know today but there is still much to be done.

105 years later please help get justice for this great man of Ireland. Fear Iontach na hEireann
