America is at a crossroads. I think everyone already knows that. Everything is on the line in the 2028 presidential election. And from this current juncture, it appears that none of today’s Democrats can win Pennsylvania, Michigan or Wisconsin. And the reason? It’s because today’s Democratic Party is quite simply too hip and cosmopolitan to win a majority of voters in those states — all of which Vice President Al Gore won handily in 2000, and could win again.  Back in 2003, I signed a petition, known as DraftGore.com, as one of many supporters all over the United States. Everyone who signed that petition had hoped it would encourage Al Gore to launch another campaign for President. Unfortunately, after a period of careful consideration, Gore decided not to run for president again. But in 2028, could Gore change his mind if a petition like this one demonstrates that he’s the only person who can save democracy, America, and the world? It seems likely that in 2028, the Democratic Party will nominate Gavin Newsom or Kamala Harris. But can America afford to gamble on a candidate from California, who may once again fail to connect with voters in blue wall states that Gore carried easily in 2000?
 In short, 2028 could be Al Gore’s ultimate time to shine. If Gore, who will be 80 in the next election, were to commit to serving no more than one presidential term, he could then pass the baton to a younger Vice President, who may potentially keep the White House in Democratic hands until 2040! Let’s show Al Gore that he could be the one for the world’s most important job, which he had so wrongly been denied twenty-five years ago. Do you ever wonder what kind of world we might be living in today, if only Al Gore had been elected president in 2000? I say we should wonder no longer.
