Micheal Theriault the Toronto off duty police officer in Whitby Ontario, assaulted the teenager Dafonte Miller in 2016. Dafonte will forever be impaired from this assault. Today Thursday November 5th 2020, Micheal Theriault was convicted of assault, and sentenced to only 9 months in jail. This is simply not even close to the sentence a man who racial profiles and beats a young man to the point of him losing his eye should revive. So I call upon the Ministry Attorney General, Doug Downey to petition the court for the resentencing of Micheal Theriault.
