Recall Hans Klemm, US Ambassador in Romania

Recall Hans Klemm, US Ambassador in Romania
The Issue
Ambassador Hans G. Klemm openly supported controversial public figures in Romania, formerly or currently involved in corruption scandals, or challenging the results of the WW II peace treaties and the redefinition of national European borders, disregarding reputable international political analysis think-tanks reports regarding corruption in the Romanian judicial system, actively involving the US government in favor of particular political parties in Romania, thus triggering popular disapproval and general discontent with the US.
The recall of Mr. Klemm and the appointment of a new ambassador, reflecting the position of the new US administration and reseting the old rhetoric of confrontation and double-standard of the former administration's envoy would benefit all parties involved, and the overall US image in the region.
