Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Training : First aid

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Training : First aid
The Issue
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies, including a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped.
CPR can help in saving those lives. During a cardiac arrest heart stops beating and blood flow stops, person starts losing consciousness within 15 seconds. Within another 30 to 60 seconds patient stops breathing and damage can happen to his brain cells in case of oxygen deprivation.
Only two per cent of Indians are trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), a basic life-saving technique used to revive a person in emergency situations like heart attack, a major cause of deaths in the country, according to a survey.
I have been working as a volunteer with the Red Cross Society for the last 5 years, often when I talk in the rural areas about the Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) , the only thing that comes out is that they are not aware of it. In the last few years, the graph of heart-related patients has been increasing rapidly, and the acutely affected patients have also died due to lack of CPR. This campaign is important because if we conduct CPR training, then we can get success in saving lives.
There are many cases in India where life was saved by giving CPR. Let us together Trained the people properly, so that the people have the proper knowledge of it and it is able to save lives. It is necessary to understand that the training of CPR will be used first in their life also. with this thinking If we start the work, then we can make this campaign successful.
More than 500 people have been trained in CPR by me, and for the last 6 years I am giving training in first aid, disaster management and adventure sports, which many people have taken advantage of in their lives.
