Millions of Americans rely on credit card reward programs to stretch their budgets. People use them for cash back at the grocery store, for points that can be used for travel, or for miles that help reunite families. But those benefits are now under threat.

The Credit Card Competition Act might sound good on paper, but experts warn it could gut the rewards programs we count on. If banks and credit card companies are forced to use low-cost networks, they may no longer be able to fund the generous rewards that help everyday people earn something back for their spending. 

This legislation could hurt responsible credit card users, especially those who pay their balances in full and have come to depend on these programs. It's not fair to punish consumers in the name of competition—especially when so many are already facing rising costs.

Tell Congress: don’t let this bill take away our rewards. We should be protecting programs that help hardworking Americans, not dismantling them.
