Dissolve the Turning Point USA chapter at PennWest California

Dissolve the Turning Point USA chapter at PennWest California
The Issue
A fellow student at PennWest California's campus has become a victim of doxxing due to the actions taken by Turning Point USA, Savannah Craven, and their supporters; it is extremely upsetting and discouraging to witness an educational environment where such actions can occur. TPUSA has not only compromised the privacy and safety of our peers but has also created a hateful and divisive atmosphere on campus. We need to reassess the presence of this organization at our institution, effective immediately.
Furthermore, I am disheartened by the offensive and disparaging remarks made by Savannah Craven and her followers towards the LGBTQ+ community at PennWest California. These comments perpetuate hostility and homophobia, and work to alienate LGBTQ+ students, making them feel unsafe and unwelcome within their own community.
Turning Point's conduct and the behavior of its supporters have made it clear: their presence on campus is no longer aligned with the values we strive to uphold at PennWest Cal, not only as a university, but as a community. We aim to create an inclusive, respectful, and supportive educational environment for everyone, regardless of their gender, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sex, or sexual orientation. The safety and well-being of our student body and staff must come first! To protect students' rights and ensure that PennWest remains a kind and supportive environment for everyone, we must call for the dissolution of the Turning Point USA chapter at PennWest's California campus. This action is absolutely necessary to restore safety, unity, and respect on our campus.
Join us in taking a stand for our community. Let's work together to ensure that everyone on Cal's campus can learn and thrive in a positive and safe environment. Please sign this petition to support the disbandment of the Turning Point USA chapter at our university!
