My ordeal with Canada Post and its abysmal handling of services has left me and many average Canadians feeling belittled and dismissed. I have witnessed firsthand how its inefficiencies have caused unnecessary hardships for those just trying to get by. The evident disregard for common citizens by both the management and the Union is a glaring issue which requires immediate attention.

In recent years, Canada Post has been overwhelmed with a series of problems. In 2019, 46% of Canadian businesses reported dissatisfaction with Canada Post's service (Canadian Federation of Independent Business, 2019). In 2020, holiday parcels saw record delays, with some Canadians waiting months to receive their packages. If our national postal service continues on this path, it will only further exacerbate the struggles of ordinary Canadians, especially amidst the current global crisis.

Therefore, we propose to dismantle Canada Post and establish a new postal entity—one that is committed to providing reliable, efficient, and affordable mail services for all Canadians, regardless of their location or social status.
