My Facebook Account – Disabled on the grounds that I have committed infringement of copyrights of Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre – Absolutely wrong claim but Facebook acted based on one side story and disabled my Facebook Account – Thousands are unhappy – Appeal to repeal the decision and maintain Status Quo.

BACKGROUND

 

At the outset, let us understand one thing that neither Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust nor Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre are neither authors or owners of any of the Sai Literature such as Sai Bhajans or Sai Discourses and therefore, cannot claim any copyrights on those works nor any of the Sai Literature including interviews, etc.  There is no doubt whatsoever on this aspect at all and any discussion on this just waste of time.  For that matter, is it correct to claim that someone is infringing on copyrights when he quotes works such as the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita or Sathya Sai Speaks?

 

 

These works belong to the mankind. Everyone has equal right to use them for his own progress in spirituality. Nobody can claim exclusive rights to the use of the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita or Sathya Sai Speaks or any other holy works of any religion or spiritual organization.

 

 

My Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/vr.ganti.1  has been restricted to start with and thereafter has been disabled at the behest of the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre (SSSMC) because I am, by quoting Sai teachings, allegedly infringing on copyrights. There is a satirical saying that even though God accedes, you cannot get what you desire unless the priest agrees. I am now facing this situation. I am relying on what God has said. I am doing God’s work. Yet, the SSSMC is flexing its muscles and depriving me of God’s teachings to be quoted for the benefit of the general public and more particularly the Sai Fraternity.

 

 

This is a very highhanded and arrogant action by the SSSMC ably assisted by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust (SSSCT). Obviously, the SSSMC and SSSCT think that Swami’s dicta ‘Love All; Serve All’ and ‘Help Ever; Hurt Never’ are not meant for them, but for others. They think that they can decide who should follow Sai teachings and who should not. And, they block the Facebook account of those who should not be allowed to follow Sai teachings.  I approached the Managing Trustee, RJ Rathnakar several times to change and reform his approach towards the Sai Devotees in general and not continue as the DON of Puttaparthi but greet one and all with LOVE, but he continues to show his highhandedness till date.  I am very sure SAI BABA will come out with a very heavy hand sooner than later and I am not sure whether even at that point will this RJ Rathnakar change and reform?

 

 

I went on Chardham Yatra (Pilgrimage) on 11-05-2022 and returned only on 25-05-2022 to my country Singapore and did not access Facebook at all during that period.  However, Facebook authorities advised that I infringed the copyrights during that period and I do not know on what basis Facebook took the action to restrict and later to disable my account.  In any case, I thought I am living in a world where one can express freely one’s views and not succumb to the pressures from people like RJ Rathnakar who is worse than the dictators like HITLER.  Ha ha ha.

Till date (12-06-2022), I really don’t know what is that I have infringed and what is the basis for “RESTRICTING” to start with and later “DISABLING” my Facebook Account? When I appealed (reference given in the Subject field) all that Facebook told me to contact Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre.  And all the Sai Devotees are fully aware of the attitude of RJR and his CHAMCHAS (HENCHMEN) towards me just because I expose the wrong doings by them which are not just heinous but also totally against SAI TEACHINGS.

UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, I HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO TAKE UP THE MATTER IN A TWO-PRONGED APPROACH.

1. APPEAL TO SAI DEVOTEES WORLDOVER TO HELP ME IN A SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN TO IMPRESS UPON FACEBOOK THAT THEY CANNOT TAKE ACTION JUST BASED ON THE COMPLAINT RECEIVED FROM SSSMC/SSSCT BUT HEAR ME OUT CLEARLY AND THEN TAKE AN APPROPRIATE DECISION; LEST APPROPRIATE LEGAL ACTION IS NOT RULED OUT.

 

2.  TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TOTALLY EXPOSE THE HIGHHANDEDNESS OF RJR, THE MANAGING TRUSTEE OF SRI SATHYA SAI CENTRAL TRUST AND THE BLIND FOLLOWERS WORKING IN SRI SATHYA SAI MEDIA CENTRE.  ONE SHOULD NOTE THAT THOUSANDS ARE ALREADY CONCERNED ABOUT THE WAY RJR IS HANDLING VARIOUS MATTERS IN SAI WHICH IS TOTALLY AGAINST SAI TEACHINGS.

 

APPEAL TO FACEBOOK AUTHORITIES

Your approach in this matter leaves much to be desired.  You have disabled my account based on the complaint received from Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre and so it is your decision to disable my account and when I am appealing to you, you are directing me to SSSMC.  I am appealing against your action that you cannot take action just based on story from one side and you MUST hear me out and then take a decision. Is my view not JUST AND EQUITABLE?

I will, in the next one week, provide lot of information in support of my appeal to you people at FACEBOOK to enable you to kindly consider the matter in its right perspective.

 

 

APPEAL TO THE SAI DEVOTEES.

Om Sri Sai Ram to you all.  

 

 

Some of you have rightly raised your voice against Facebook and asked me to take up with Facebook authorities appropriately and question as to how could they disable my account.

Your concern is quite genuine that Facebook authorities should not have acted unilaterally without giving me an opportunity to explain myself.  All that I have been doing was post Sai Bhajans and Sai Discourses and so on.  Also, I have brought, from time to time, to the notice of all of you the ADHARMA ACTIVITIES/ACTIONS OF RJ RATHNAKAR AND SRI SATHYA SAI CENTRAL TRUST and will continue to do the same as being directed by OUR LORD SRI SATHYA SAI BABA who is guiding me and will continue to guide me.

 

The above cannot be a reason for disabling my account and preclude me in spreading SAI’s Glory.

I NOW APPEAL TO YOU TO SIGN THIS PETITION IN BIG NUMBERS BY MAKING ALL YOUR FRIENDS TO SIGN THE PETITION.
