For the past few weeks, we have seen a brazen misuse of powers by the Commissioner of Police & his team against a journalist & his team for raising their voice for the truth. Courts & Law has been bypassed at  almost every step. All just to score brownie points with the political masers.

This brazen flouting of rules & regulations, not to mention, gangster-esque vendetta mongering is a big slap on the faces of those brave, honest & upright officers, who serve the city & it's residents with single minded dedication. Demoralizing such officers will kill the morale of an entire force whose non biased operation is critical for the safety & well being of this great city.

The Commissioner & his cronies, should be made answerable & punished. There's no other way of restoring the faith of common people in the law & order of the city.

We, the undersigned demand that privilige motion be introduced against the police commissioner, Parambir Singh & Inspector Sachin Vaze for their highhanded & atrocious behavior during Arnab Goswami's arrest, in the Parliament of India. They should be dismissed from service & criminal proceedings be initiated against them.
