Help our children.

Our children have lost so much education due to the closure of schools and extended breaks due to the current Covid-19 crisis.  We do not know what the rest of this year and 2021 will be like and we need to act now.

Our children are suffering due to lost education and school closures or extended breaks.  Remote learning has not been to the same level across all schools. Our children's futures depend on a high level of education which is not possible to deliver during these unique times and is having an impact on their Human Rights.

Parents want children to be able to repeat their current year come September 2021.  Meaning no new Nursery intakes which allows each child to remain in their current year in order for them to have time to catch up and allow for further closures, which will be inevitable.  This helps with Nursery, Primary, Secondary, Tech and Universities  being able to draw up better processes and for GCSE's and A Levels etc to be deferred for a year taking pressure off children, parents and teachers. 

Online/Remote learning will not be the same for all children and levels of education to the same standard.  Our children are our future and we owe it to them to ensure that they can achieve the same as all the children that have previously gone before them.
