Child's education for a better nation: Prove and make a move

Child's education for a better nation: Prove and make a move

The Issue

Every year, the number of out-of-school children continuously grow, may it be in the metro or the provinces of the country. Along with this is the increasing number of crime rate involving minors as the suspect or the victim. Poverty became the main reason why they cannot afford the necessities in life, even their own rights. When we were young, we were taught that we have the right to learn and to educate. Now is the time to give back. This petition aims for the government to see how minimal actions we have taken in order to provide quality education for these children. They are not enough to sustain the needs of the many students. Children from provinces should have closer access to schools and school materials, and provide mobile schools for the marginalized and neglected. Dr. Jose Rizal once said, the youth is the hope of the nation. This is our chance to make this come true. We, the students of Adamson University, send this letter not only to the DepEd and the government, but to you, too, who had been given the opportunity to learn. It may seem small to us, but it would mean the world to them. Image from: linkedin.com
