Highly talented and skilled martial arts students are currently not allowed to use their sport in their GCSE or A level exam. Instead they are being told to take up ‘ alternative sports ‘ the sport that they have studied for years and often achieved a high level in can should be on the list. The martial arts community are missing out. This is a wonderful sport where boys and girls can equally compete at a very high level and train together it takes great discipline, and dedication and I think it’s very unfair that all the arts have been removed. Please can everyone sign this and share it ? We need to reinstate martial arts as a valid option on the schools curriculum and give our students the chance that they deserve.
