We believe that as members of the Democratic Party, citizens of the United States of America, and holders of progressive values, it is imperative to bring more attention to the struggles and problems endured predominantly by the male community. These problems include the overwhelmingly high male suicide rate along with social struggles and taboos relating to the ongoing men’s mental health crisis on a global level. We agree that it is the responsibility of the Democratic Party and the Democratic Strategy Institute to bring these issues to light. By including men’s mental health as a talking point in political arguments and campaigns, we can further ensure that the Democratic Party stands at the forefront in the fight for men's mental health issues.
