I have long cared deeply about the wellbeing of people and the planet. It is profoundly moving to see human beings reduced to mere pawns in the grand game of international politics. Why should innocent lives pay the price of the disputes between world leaders? This is a call to action, a plea not only from an individual but from the collective voices of us all.

The world is embroiled in enough catastrophes already. As per the Global Peace Index 2021, only 17 out of 163 countries are reported not to be in conflict. That is just 10% of the countries accounted for. It is therefore crucial for us to stand together and tell our leaders - Enough is enough.

We demand them to cease their senseless disputes, to put people before their personal ambitions, to understand that their citizens are not tools to be used in their power play. We are individuals with dreams, aspirations, and a desire to live peacefully.

We need to remind them that true leadership is not about instigating battles but resolving them. It's not about how much power they can amass but how they can use it for the betterment of their people.
