As a working parent, juggling the responsibilities of parenting and managing a business is incredibly challenging, especially during busy times. Like many, I rely on Treatwell as a significant source of my income, which helps pay my rent and sustain my livelihood. Every year, during the six-week holiday, I send my son to Vietnam to spend time with his grandparents. This allows me to focus on my business, particularly during the peak season for beauty salons. Unfortunately, my financial stability has been severely impacted due to a series of unfortunate events.

Since 16th July, my Treatwell account, which I've been using for the past 10 years, was hacked. From then until 1st September, I’ve not received any payment from Treatwell, despite the funds being vital for my business and personal expenses. The anguish and anxiety caused by this experience have been overwhelming, and it's disheartening to see that Treatwell has taken no responsibility in safeguarding our accounts or providing restorative measures for those affected by fraud.

Many other users have encountered similar distressing situations, facing account hacking, financial theft, and a lackadaisical response from Treatwell in addressing these issues. Trust, once broken, is hard to rebuild, and Treatwell's negligence in these matters has shattered the confidence of its users.

We urge Treatwell to implement better security measures for customer accounts, ensuring they are well-protected against hacking attempts. Additionally, Treatwell must establish a reliable reimbursement policy to compensate those who have fallen victim to fraudulent activities.

It's time for Treatwell to acknowledge its responsibility towards its loyal customers and take immediate action to prevent further harm.
