I am a resident of Aberdeenshire, and like many others, I rely on public transportation for my daily commute. However, the current service provider, Stagecoach, has been causing significant inconvenience and financial loss due to their unreliable services. Buses frequently fail to show up on time or at all, leaving us stranded and out of pocket.

Stagecoach's poor performance is not only affecting individuals but also impacting the wider community. According to Transport Scotland's annual report in 2019 (source: Transport Scotland), bus punctuality across Scotland was at its lowest level since records began - with Stagecoach being one of the main contributors.

The lack of reliable public transport is preventing people from getting to work on time, students from reaching their schools or colleges promptly and hindering access to healthcare facilities for our elderly population. This situation is unacceptable.

We need a service provider that values its customers' time and money; a company that understands the importance of reliable public transport for local communities' economic growth and social well-being.

Therefore, we call upon Aberdeenshire Council to remove stagecoach from this service. We demand an urgent investigation into this matter followed by necessary actions which may include removing Stagecoach as our public service provider if they continue failing us.
