I am a remote worker who relies heavily on power supply to function effectively. Due to the abysmal operations and unperturbed attitude of Eko Electricity Distribution Company, my livelihood and mental state are regrettably being stifled. Regular loss of power supply has not only caused me extensive economic damages but has also drastically affected my mental well-being.

Eko Electricity Distribution Company's continued disregard for the well-being of their customers and unresponsiveness to our plight is abhorrent. As a monopoly, the quality of their services should not only be unparalleled but also available when needed.

In recent times, there have been increasing complaints from consumers about intermittent power supply, outrageous billing, and lack of customer responsiveness. Whilst some of us are brave enough to endure these hardships in silence, optimism can only stretch so far before it snaps completely.

With this petition, our demand is for the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission and the Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission to either suspend or revoke the operational license of Eko Electricity Distribution Company if they continue to fail in delivering quality services to the people residing under their distribution coverage. The gauntlet has been thrown, it's now up to the regulatory body to protect the interest of the consumers by making sure power supply is continuous, affordable, and efficiently managed.

We demand justice, we demand quality service, and most importantly, we demand a reliable and consistent power supply. It is high time someone was held accountable for the incessant power outages causing untold hardship to countless consumers.
