Dear Supporters,
We have now surpassed 500 signatures. This milestone shows the public’s growing demand for accountability from Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI). At the same time, new public records have been released, and they are devastating in what they reveal.
⸻
🔴 From the Survivor’s Sworn Petition for a Restraining Order
“I told him to stop, and said no to his advances. He then pulled me back and forcefully inserted his penis inside of me. He immediately ejaculated.”
“He became verbally abusive and told me I was triggering his past trauma because a girl in law school accused him of raping her.”
These are statements made under penalty of perjury in a sworn filing to the court.
⸻
🔴 From the Sacramento Police Arrest Report (June 24, 2025)
Police documented:
“Victim showed officers visible swelling and a possible small contusion on her left arm.”
The officer wrote:
“Based on my investigation, I determined Suspect Emmerson was the primary aggressor.”
The report confirms Emmerson was arrested on Penal Code 273.5(a) — felony domestic violence, corporal injury to spouse/cohabitant and:
“S-Emmerson was subsequently transported and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail (SCMJ).”
The officer also noted:
“V wished to remain anonymous for the public record.”
An Emergency Protective Order was granted to protect both the victim and her child.
⸻
🔴 From the Elk Grove Police Report (DVRO Violation, Aug 19, 2025)
The officer described Emmerson as:
“Confrontational, argumentative, and dismissive throughout the investigation.”
And concluded:
“Based on my investigation, I am requesting charges be filed for violation of a domestic violence restraining order (PC 273.6).”
⸻
🔴 From the 911 CAD Call (June 12, 2025)
“Husband is feeling suicidal… has guns… 5 firearms.”
⸻
⚠️ What’s at Stake
Together these records document sworn allegations of rape, physical assault resulting in visible injury, a felony arrest and jail booking, an emergency protective order covering a mother and her child, and an alleged violation serious enough that police recommended new charges.
The victim herself explicitly stated she wished to remain anonymous in the public record. Yet despite this, an SPI employee representative publicly disclosed the victim’s identity on a community forum.
The fact that an SPI employee had access to such sensitive information raises serious concerns. How would an SPI representative know these details unless they were discussed internally with the company or the Emmerson family? If so, that would directly contradict the survivor’s explicit request for anonymity and raises troubling questions about whether SPI leadership may have been involved in sharing this information.
We also want to be clear: we reached out to the individual that the SPI representative named publicly, but we have not received a response. The official records state plainly that “V wished to remain anonymous for the public record.”
⸻
📢 What Happens Next
With 500+ signatures, we are preparing the next phase of action:
1. Media Outreach — ensuring journalists have access to these public records and SPI’s continued silence.
2. Institutional Accountability — filing formal complaints to organizations tied to SPI leadership.
3. Public Visibility — coordinated actions to keep this issue in the public eye.
⸻
✊ How You Can Help
• Contact SPI and demand accountability.
• Watch for our next coordinated action.
⸻
The public records are clear. The sworn filings are clear. The officers’ determinations are clear. The only thing unclear is why Sierra Pacific Industries continues to protect silence instead of standing for accountability.
Onward,
