I am deeply disheartened by the performance of the Labour Party under the leadership of Keir Starmer. As a significant number of us, including those on Personal Independence Pay (PIP) and disability payments, have been let down, we find our progress stalling, our promises unmet, and our concerns overlooked by the current leadership. Under Starmer’s leadership, public sector net borrowing excluding banks stands at £34.1 billion in December 2021, representing £28.2 billion more than December 2020 (Office for National Statistics). Additionally, many of us relying on PIP and disability payments are at great risk of detrimental changes to welfare and disability benefits. As discontent citizens, we stand firm in insisting that Keir Starmer resign from his position and a General Election be held to realign the Labour Party with its original mission of equitable and compassionate governance. We need leadership that will deliver on promises made and recognize the challenges of the people. Join us in taking a stand against the current inefficient leadership.
