Demand Peacekeepers in Gaza, End the Genocide, and Hold Israel Accountable

Demand Peacekeepers in Gaza, End the Genocide, and Hold Israel Accountable
The Issue
We, the undersigned, urgently call on our governments and international institutions to intervene to protect civilians in Gaza, stop further atrocities, and hold perpetrators accountable. The scale and intent of the violence point clearly to genocide, and we demand immediate international action—including the deployment of peacekeeping forces under UN mandate.
Over 2 million people in Gaza are suffering under:
- Indiscriminate bombing of homes, schools, and hospitals
- Starvation and siege tactics—denial of food, water, medicine, and fuel
- Destruction of health systems and targeting of ambulances
- Blocked humanitarian aid, even when coordinated
- Widespread displacement and mass civilian casualties
The time for diplomatic hesitation is over. International law—especially the Geneva Conventions and the Genocide Convention—obligates states to act to prevent genocide, not merely condemn it.
We Demand the Following:
1️⃣Immediate Humanitarian Access
- Open safe aid corridors by land, sea, and air
- Support airdrops of emergency supplies
- Guarantee the safety of aid convoys and workers
2️⃣Deploy Peacekeeping Forces to Gaza
- Establish a UN-authorized international protection force to safeguard civilians
- Monitor ceasefire violations and facilitate humanitarian relief
- Create and enforce safe zones, no-fly zones, and humanitarian corridors
3️⃣End Material and Diplomatic Support to Israel
- Suspend all arms sales and military aid
- Revoke licenses for dual-use and military exports
- Withdraw diplomatic protection (e.g. UN vetoes in genocide cases)
4️⃣Support Legal Accountability
- Fully support ICC investigations into war crimes and genocide
- Cooperate with the ICJ genocide case and provide legal evidence
- Initiate domestic investigations under universal jurisdiction
5️⃣Impose Sanctions on Those Responsible
- Sanction Israeli leaders, military officials, and companies complicit in war crimes
- Investigate and hold to account any international enablers of these crimes
6️⃣Recognize Palestinian Rights and Statehood
- Support full Palestinian membership in the UN
- Uphold the right to self-determination and return
- End apartheid, occupation, and blockades
7️⃣Reform International Accountability Mechanisms
- Push for UN Security Council veto reform in cases of mass atrocities
- Join coalitions for independent enforcement of international law
Why This Matters:
The world failed Rwanda. The world failed Srebrenica. We cannot fail Gaza.
When ambulances are shelled, children are starved, and aid is blocked—this is not collateral damage. It is a systematic campaign to erase a people.
Peacekeeping forces were created for moments like this.
The failure to act is not a matter of capacity, but of political will. We will not be complicit in this silence.
We demand peace. We demand protection. We demand justice.

26/05/25: PREVIOUS REVISION
We, the undersigned, are gravely concerned about the mass killing of civilians, widespread destruction, and deliberate starvation of Palestinians in Gaza. We believe these acts constitute war crimes and genocide, and demand urgent action to stop further atrocities.
Over 2 million people in Gaza are facing:
- Indiscriminate bombing of homes, hospitals, and schools
- A complete blockade of food, water, fuel, and medicine
- Attacks on aid convoys and humanitarian workers
- The collapse of medical infrastructure
- Forced displacement and mass suffering
International law—including the Geneva Conventions and the Genocide Convention—obliges governments to act. Silence and complicity make states accountable too.
We Demand the Following:
1️⃣Immediate humanitarian access
- Open air, sea, and land aid corridors
- Support airdrops of food, fuel, and medical aid
- Protect humanitarian workers and missions
2️⃣ End material and diplomatic support to Israel
- Suspend all arms sales, military aid, and cooperation
- Revoke export licenses for military and dual-use equipment
- End diplomatic protection (e.g. UN Security Council vetoes)
3️⃣ Support legal accountability
- Fully back the ICC’s investigation into war crimes and genocide
- Support the ICJ case brought under the Genocide Convention
- Launch domestic investigations using universal jurisdiction
4️⃣ Impose sanctions on entities and individuals involved in war crimes
- Sanction Israeli government officials, military officers, and companies
- Hold accountable any officials in other countries enabling these crimes
5️⃣Recognize Palestinian statehood and rights
- Support Palestine’s full UN membership
- Uphold the right to self-determination and international protection
- End all occupation and apartheid policies
6️⃣ Reform international law enforcement
- Push for UN Security Council veto restrictions in genocide cases
- Join coalitions calling for independent enforcement mechanisms
Why This Matters:
This is not a neutral issue. Civilians are not collateral damage - they are deliberately targeted, as in the case of Hind Rajab. Starvation is not an accident—it is being used as a weapon of war.
Governments and institutions that continue to arm and protect Israel in this context are enabling war crimes.
We refuse to be silent. We refuse to be complicit.
We demand immediate action to stop the genocide in Gaza and hold those responsible accountable—no matter how powerful they are.
