We the People are calling for MSNBC to finally bring a stop to its partisan behavior and hateful rhetoric and to turn to a centralist form of reporting in order to restore their journalistic integrity or risk the prospect of becoming an obsolete network with even less credibility than they currently have.

For far too long, MSNBC has indulged in pushing dangerously far-left narratives, deliberately biased against President-elect Donald Trump, MAGA, and all right-leaning political perspectives. This personal concern is shared by countless others who value unbiased, fact-based journalism and the diversity of opinions it should represent.

For years, MSNBC had been pushing bias left-leaning propaganda and agenda politics, whether it was talking up the presidency of Barack Obama, championing the 2016 presidential bid of Hillary Clinton, pushing the fabricated Russia hoax of the 2016 election, and coverage of the partisan impeachment of Trump, to their slanted coverage of the Ukraine-Russia conflict, participation in covering up the Hunter laptop scandal, or refusal to discuss Biden's Afghanistan humiliation or any of the many scandals to rock his administration. MSNBC has for far too long engaged in far-left politics and deliberately misled its audience with inaccurate reporting and biased broadcasting.

Just this year, media analysis found that 93% of MSNBC's coverage of Donald Trump in the buildup to the 2024 presidential election was negative, painting a skewed picture of reality to millions of viewers and even engaging in the dangerous rhetoric of painting Trump as Adolf Hitler and calling his supporters Nazis. Their coverage of Kamala Harris was, in contrast, more than 95% positive and supportive. This is something that should not be taking place on any news network. MSNBC's coverage should not be a platform for political bias, hate speech, or misinformation but instead a forum for responsible, balanced reporting that respects diverse political inclinations within our nation.

There's a rising need for MSNBC to revert to its journalistic roots—to put aside political biases and focus on the direct, unbiased reporting of news and facts. The media plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion, and a network seen as partisan only contributes to the divisiveness in our politically polarized society.

This isn't just about supporting one political side over another, but about maintaining the integrity of our media networks, in this case, MSNBC. It's about insisting that they honor their duty to the public by providing unbiased, accurate, and inclusive news reporting.

In another example of bias in far-left learnings and in fanning the flames of division, MSNBC has permitted hosts like Rachel Maddow, Mika Brzezinski, and Joe Scarborough to push their radical far-left narrative to an uninformed and potentially vulnerable audience in an effort to control the narrative and paint the image they want viewers to believe. This disregards the mandate of impartial journalism to only report news and facts.

As a disturbing focal point, Joy Reid has continually been allowed to stay on the air despite her openly anti-white, racist behavior, far-left bias, and divisive rhetoric. She has not only been pushing such blatant racism and hate on screen without consequence, but she's been doing it for years to an ever-shrinking audience. Hence, we are demanding MSNBC rectify their actions by removing Joy Reid and expressly condemning her behavior.

Whether you are left, right, or center, the key to productive dialogue and societal growth is a media that reflects the full spectrum of political values, not just one side. According to many reports and studies, around 54% of Americans are now getting their news from social media platforms instead of the traditional means. That is because of a growing distrust in the media stemming from there being too much biased reporting, which undermines our democracy. Misinformation harms us deeply, not just politically, but also socially, and is no less dangerous than physical harm. 

We're calling on MSNBC to align with basic journalistic ethics: unbiased reporting, a centralist stance, and a total dedication to delivering the truth. It's time to denounce hate, misinformation, and partisan prejudice. It's time for MSNBC to return to behaving like a proper network. Please join us in demanding this much-needed change.
