The Issue

Kohen Wiley was just a year old when his life was violently taken away in Mississippi. This tragedy has left us heartbroken and furious, demanding action and accountability. On that fateful day, his mother, who was accused of shoplifting diapers, had proof of purchase through a digital receipt. Yet, as she drove away from the scene, bullets struck her car. She was in critical condition, and dear Kohen is no longer with us. We need this heartbreaking incident to be a wake-up call.

The use of deadly force in response to shoplifting is simply unacceptable and unjustifiable. It is rumored that the officer involved had previous accusations of using racial slurs. This suggests a deeper issue of racial bias that must be addressed urgently. We need comprehensive investigations and transparent reporting to prevent such racially charged tragedies from repeating.

This is not an isolated incident, but a part of a systemic problem that plagues many communities. We have to stand up against this kind of racially motivated injustice. We need Mississippi authorities to take action, hold those responsible accountable, and implement changes that protect our communities from similar incidents.

Kohen deserves justice. His family deserves answers. And our society deserves change. Let's make sure that his name isn’t forgotten, and that this doesn’t happen again. Join me in demanding a thorough investigation into this tragedy and a commitment to enacting meaningful reforms. Sign this petition to bring justice for Kohen Wiley.
