Demand justice and reform Nevada's criminal system
The Issue
Imagine being in a position where years of your life are lost, waiting for justice that never seems to arrive. This isn't just a story about statistics—this is about real people, real families, who are being torn apart. In Nevada, constitutional rights are being violated daily, and voices that should be heard are continually ignored. My own family, included. , has been struggling against a system that appears to be broken.
Every day, countless individuals like myself.
18 year oldfully convicted of a first degree murder going on 30 years old, since to 2012years for accidental homicide a situation that went wrong. I've been gone 11 years. I've maintained my innocence throughout this whole time.
I witness testimony, corroborates, and connects to my innocence, along with other witnesses, because in environment, I was brought up in and raised in, I was guilty before proving guilty. Now I'm in the process of getting home with the help of God and a few family members in friends. to help a second change to a person who deserves it as a child, i did childish things as a teen
Now as a man, I find myself doing a memory things. I'm no longer an ignorant, selfish, or a childish person. I' mature and more ways than I can count. as a current position on men.
I have face myself many days and nights and tear away the facade or image. I once saw and was. and find my true self, a young man, for of life and love, a son, a grandson, a father, a brother, a uncle, all I'm a the world is for y'all to help me win this fight where the eyesdds are against me. No one's perfect, no one's sins or mistakes are more or less than another's.
A chance of redemption, we all deserve as God's children, and as part of humanity.
are caught in a web of unjust legal processes and wrongfully incarcerated, waiting endlessly for their day in court. The tragic impact of these delays and misjudgments is profound, not only affecting the incarcerated individuals but also causing relentless suffering for their loved ones. These family members are left to navigate the heartbreak of absent loved ones and the financial ruin that often accompanies legal battles.
We cannot stand by as these injustices continue. We demand fair treatment and the right to timely trials as promised by our legal systems' very foundation. It's time to hold those responsible for wrongful incarceration and civil rights abuses accountable. Our law enforcement and judiciary must adopt more transparency, and any gaps in the legal infrastructure that cause these delays must be addressed immediately.
According to the National Exoneration Registry, hundreds of individuals in the US have been exonerated after spending years in prison for crimes they did not commit. In many of these cases, key evidence was ignored or due diligence was not followed. Nevada can and must do better.
We urge the Nevada government and judicial bodies to take immediate action, conduct comprehensive reviews of their procedures, and ensure that no more families have their lives put on hold due to a flawed system.
We are not just statistics. We are people with hopes, dreams, and rights worthy of protection. Let us be the voice for those who need a second chance. Let's bring light to where injustice thrives in darkness and reclaim faith in our justice system.
Your voice matters. Share our message. Sign the petition. Help us fight for justice. Together, we can demand the change that is long overdue.
