This issue strikes me personally. Our children, our future generations deserve something better. They deserve to inherit a democracy that is clean, fair, and transparent. We owe it to them to uphold values of fairness and inclusivity. It’s crucial that we, as citizens, keep a watch on our government to stop tyranny and oppression.

Subsequently, I call for a hand recount of paper ballots in all swing states for the upcoming 2024 presidential election, done under the supervision of representatives from both parties. No computer tabulations allowed. Irrespective of our political leanings, our common ground was, is, and will remain to be our country. Our democratic values transcend party lines. 

In the 2016 presidential elections, recounts in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan saw a shift in numbers by a few hundreds (<1% change), as per the data from the US Federal Election Commission. Transparent processes like hand recounts help reconcile any discrepancies and reinforce the credibility of our electoral process.
