The Issue

As fans of Manchester United, we take pride in the history, values, and ambition of our club. That ambition must extend across all teams — including the women’s team.

Manchester United Women have reached major finals, played in Europe, and inspired a new generation of supporters since their reformation in 2018. Yet they continue to face underinvestment in key areas, particularly in the transfer market. With several senior players departing and depth already limited, the team now faces the prospect of entering a crucial season underprepared — not through lack of talent or fan support, but through lack of funding.

We, the undersigned, call on INEOS and the leadership of Manchester United Football Club to:

  1. Publicly commit to a strong summer transfer window for the women’s team, with sufficient budget to strengthen in all key areas.
  2. Match the ambition shown by rival clubs, ensuring Manchester United Women can consistently compete for major honours.
  3. Communicate transparently with fans about the club’s strategy for developing and sustaining a top-tier women’s side.
  4. Demonstrate parity of investment and professionalism across men’s and women’s football at all levels of the club.

Our loyalty is to Manchester United — and that means all of Manchester United. We ask for nothing more than equal ambition, equal backing, and equal respect.

Back the badge. Fund the future.
