Our rich, naturally resourced province is being exploited and this injustice must stop. We - proud, hardworking people of Newfoundland and Labrador – are footing the bill for Muskrat Falls and suffering because of unconscionable power rates by NL Power, NL Hydro, and Fortis.

We consistently pay 14.237 cents per kWH, a stark contrast to Quebec who receive our power for a mere 0.2 cents per kWh. This disparity raises questions, what agreements were made behind closed doors, and on whose expense? People of this province have had enough of corporate greed and government favor, and refuse to stand by as our resources are squandered.

The residents of Newfoundland and Labrador are calling for immediate action to lower their power bills, and for these companies to get a reality check. It's high time for the Public Utilities Board (PUB) to step in, for the sake of fair and affordable power rates. Therefore, we urge everyone to actively demand change by writing to the PUB.
