I was personally affected by a group on Facebook called "Right Guys Snide Reviews." This group, along with others of its kind, need to be taken down; they are nothing more than platforms for bullies.
Everyday, innocent people become victims of the uncalled-for attacks this group perpetrates. According to a study by the Cyberbullying Research Center, over 36% of people have experienced cyberbullying at some point in their lives. With the proliferation of platforms like "Right Guys Snide Reviews," this number may be on the rise (Hinduja and Patchin, 2020).

Facebook, a global platform with over 2.8 billion users, has a commitment to its users' safety and wellbeing. Their community standards clearly state that "bullying and harassment of any kind aren't allowed" and promise to take action against such behaviors (Facebook Community Standards). However, groups like "Right Guys Snide Reviews" continue to exist and harm individuals with impunity. It is imperative that Facebook upholds its own community standards and promotes a healthy social environment.

Let's stand together against online bullying.
