The Issue

I am deeply concerned with how our government is allocating our hard-earned tax money. Recently, UK officials, such as Yvette Cooper, have announced plans to provide the Palestinian Authorities with at least another £10 million this year. While helping those in need abroad can be commendable, it must not come at the expense of British taxpayers who are already burdened with higher taxes.

As citizens, we observe that our tax contributions are also being directed towards supporting illegal immigrants. This is occurring at a time when many of us are struggling to meet our daily needs amid rising inflation and an uncertain economic future. We cannot ignore the pressing challenges within our own country that require immediate and adequate funding.

The public is entitled to transparency and accountability regarding how their money is spent. We demand that the government prioritizes funding for domestic needs such as healthcare, education, housing, and infrastructure before allocating funds to international initiatives or illegal immigration.

It's imperative that our voices are heard. Our continued silence will only perpetuate a financial debacle where citizens bear the brunt of poor fiscal decisions. By reallocating funds to focus on pressing national priorities, the government can alleviate the economic burdens faced by so many citizens, ensuring a more stable and prosperous future for us all.

Please sign this petition to hold our government accountable and demand a fair and transparent allocation of our tax money, putting British interests first before looking overseas or reinforcing illegal practices.
