Every member of our team met the eligibility requirements, worked hard in training, and demonstrated their skills during the selection process.
Recently, we faced a disheartening setback when we learned that the St. Catherine’s team, which outranked us and secured the slot for the games, included players who were ineligible to compete. This revelation has not only affected our team’s opportunity but also challenges the integrity of the selection process.
It's vital for the integrity of competitive sports that all teams adhere strictly to the rules regarding player eligibility. When teams like ours follow these guidelines, it ensures a level playing field for all participants and honors the effort and commitment of young athletes.
We request a thorough and immediate investigation into the eligibility of the St Catherine’s team players who were fielded during the final match of the selection process. This inquiry should aim to ensure that all teams comply with the established regulations and that any violations are addressed promptly.
