We are signing and pleading with Governor Jack Markell to revisit his pledge to let in Syrian Refugees. Our safety as a state may very well be at risk.

Obviously, it's only human to want to help those who are in need... but our proposed screening measures is nothing more than a "souped up" metal detector. It cannot detect ideologies. It cannot detect intentions. And it cannot detect what will happen down the road. Our safest course of action is to not let them in to begin with.

America should not have to suffer like France and other countries have because we want to be 'nice.' We are at war... it's time to be smart.

Delawareans should have a say in this... when it comes down to it, the Governor is protected by security and other means... but the general population is not.

WE are the ones who will lose if there is another attack as ISIS has already promised. WE should be making the decision together. If even by a vote.
