marijuana is a green, brown, or gray mixture of dried, shredded leaves, stems, seeds, and flowers of the hemp plant. it has a chemical in it called tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC. all forms of marijuana are mind altering. a lot of other chemicals are found in marijuana too, about 400 of them. im sure most of you would agree that marijuana can have damaging effects on the body and mind, but it seems now that it is doing more good then anyone ever though possible.

for thousands of years its been grown and used, the first bible pages were made of hemp (for those religous people), but only quite recentely has it been proven to help nausea, pain and muscle spasms. it alleviates symptoms of glaucoma, multiple scletosis, aids, migraines and other debilitating illnesses. Of couse marijuana can't cure any of these things, but for a lot of people life would be so much harder without it. 

those are just some of the health pro's of marijuana, imagine how much the violance and crime rate would go down? and in how many ways it could help our economy. do some research, marijuana does not kill like alcohol and nicotene and many other man made drugs, it helps.
