Romanian and Bulgarian university students are unfairly being targeted by this ruling by having their loans frozen, with some forced to repay. Students are being faced with withdrawal from courses, meaning that they can no longer complete their studies. 

This ruling is purely targeting Romanians and Bulgarians. By withdrawing support from students to carry on their courses, universities will face losing funds which could prove damaging. 

We call on the government to either clarify or remove this ruling and to allow these students to carry on their studies with loans we guaranteed them.
