It's under unfortunate circumstances that I am forced to create this petition. I would like to formally say that the way that SAIT staff and faculty have been responding to the Covid-19 pandemic is less than ideal. The way online "classes" have been executed is absolutely sickening. Powerpoint slides that contain little information and are simply a cut and paste from the textbooks are unacceptable. It is under these circumstances that I believe my education is being compromised. As this is not an acceptable way to teach or to be expected to learn. 

Therefore, I suggest that SAIT changes the grading system to a pass or fail system while also keeping/freezing current GPA's. The U of C and MRU has made the decision to do this so, let's join them and be proactive in preserving the quality of our education.
