Confirmed victory

Ashya is a young boy with stage four cancer. His parents Brett and Naghemeh are being held under arrest in Spain unable to care for Ashya or give him treatment. They have now been denied bail.

I have known the King family for over a year. I've seen how much they love their son Ashya and only want to the best for him. His parents are being wrongly accused of neglect when they were only attempting to get better treatment for their son. Until they are released, his parents will be unable to get the treatment they desire and Ashya will be facing his illness alone.

They are not refusing any treatment, just the poor options available to them in the Southampton Hospital.

Ashya is a poorly child who will no doubt be confused and distressed at being separated by from his parents. So as a parent, Mr Cameron please see it your heart to arrange some mercy to be shown for two wonderful parents.

This petition has nothing whatsoever to do with criticising either Hampshire Police or Southampton General Hospital in the handling of this case - it is purely about reuniting the family and ensuring Ashya receives the treatment of his parents preference.

Ashya's family will now be working to get the best possible care for Ashya. Friends of the family have started a fundraising page for anyone that wants to donate, here.

Letter to
Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg MP
Prime Minister  David Cameron
Ashya is a young boy with stage 4 cancer.

Unfortunately, his parents were today denied bailed pending an adjourned hearing earlier today in Madrid and are therefore unable to provide the care and love which they have so lovingly and devotionally have given to Ashya.

His parents are being accused of neglect. However, I am convinced that if you look at their story in any newspaper or youtube then you will see how well they cared for Ashya even when they left the country in order to seek medical help outside of the UK.

Mr Cameron and the ACC of Hampshire Constabulary, I and all the people who have signed this petition appeal and plead with you to assert some pressure on the Spanish authorities to reunite the parents with Ashya so that they can care for him and discuss his treatment with the medical staff at the hospital in Malaga.

Ashya is a poorly child who will no doubt be confused and distressed at being separated by from his parents. So as a parent, Mr Cameron please see it your heart to arrange some mercy to be shown for two wonderful parents - the rest can wait and justice will prevail in the end. They are after all British Citizens and should expect the right to be treated with dignity as the inside cover of their passport clearly states!!

This petition has nothing whatsoever to do with criticising either Hampshire Police or Southampton General Hospital in the handling of this case - it is purely about reuniting the family and ensuring Ashya receive the treatment of his parents preference.

Please please find it in your heart as a hum being to act!!!

Many thanks
