Protect our BBC from cuts

Protect our BBC from cuts
The Issue
The BBC has recently faced a round of fresh cuts since the election of the new Conservative Government.
BBC Three is already under threat, but I believe is currently safe for another year.
As a result of a £150m budget gap in the licence fee income, the BBC has been forced to cut 1,000 jobs. It has been obliged to take on the cost of free licence fees for the over 75s, no longer subsidised by the government, which has erased £630m from the BBCs income.
Today in the papers some celebrities have signed a letter to David Cameron asking him to protect the BBC from any further cuts. I wish to join the stars and to show David Cameron how important the BBC is to the people of Britain and around the World.
The BBC is a core part of our heritage providing news in 28 languages and is the biggest international news provider, it is also an essential source of unbiased news in the world surrounded by biased news corporations.
Perhaps there do need to be changes to help the BBC catch up with the online streaming revolution but let's not let David Cameron raze it to the ground!
