Get 38 Degrees to release the Kuenssberg evidence
The Issue
38 Degrees have shown complete disregard for over 35,000 people who signed a petition that voiced doubts about Laura Kuenssberg's ability to do her job as a Political Editor at the BBC. There is clear evidence that she is biased [see: https://www.change.org/p/james-harding-director-of-news-and-current-affairs-we-ask-that-the-bbc-review-the-current-political-editor-laura-kuenssberg-s-position and the 38 Degrees petition was an outlet for criticism of her and an expression of the need for her to be removed and replaced with someone who can report matters fairly.
Craig Murray [https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2016/05/38-degrees-refuse-release-evidence-sexist-abuse-laura-kuenssberg/ amongst others, has asked for the evidence to be released of sexist/misogynist abuse that prompted 38 Degrees to remove the entire petition from the web. This has not been forthcoming, when it could quite easily be provided.
This current petition asks:
1. For 38 Degrees to release this evidence so that the abusers can be identified and the scope of the abuse put into context;
2. For 38 Degrees to also remove any clearly abusive signatories/comments from the petition, and then reinstate it so that the vast majority of those 35,000 people can have their voices legitimately heard
Both of these actions are necessary for anyone to ever trust 38 Degrees again
