At Dallastown Area High School a new band director was just hired. He is looking to hire a drumline teacher. The old director (Mr. Dougert) put in a bad word for Zane. As the drummers who have worked with Zane know, he is an amazing teacher and deserves to work at Dallastown and teach there. Zane has tried talking with Mr. Tilley and Dr. Fletcher about the job, unfortunately he got no response. We are hoping that if we can get strong support from our drummers and their parents that Mr. Tilley will open up to Zane and see that he is more than qualified for the job! Zane has a winter performance indoor drumline that he runs (First Capital Drumline) and he runs 2 summer programs (First Capital Fife and Drum Corps and First Capital Trash Can Band!) Zane also works with numerous other schools! He has interest in Dallastown because he knows a lot of the drummer there (from his summer/winter groups and teaching private lessons) and he knows the talent that the school has to offer! Drummers, we need your support to get Zane the position he deserves!
